Description

Task:

  • Separation of hydrogen sulphide from the biogas produced in a 7 MW plant that runs on agricultural natural resources
  • Mitigating corrosion in the downstream equipment that is passed-through by the biogas

System parameters:

  • Pollutant concentration: 150 ppm of H₂S
  • Flow rate: 1,500 m³ per hour

Solution:

  • UGN®-BEKOM 5.0 gas desulphurisation system made of stainless steel
  • 2× 5 m³ of UgnCleanPellets® S 3.5 filtering material

Special features:

  • After treatment, the desulphurised gas is fed into the proprietary network and used in the operator’s CHP plants for heat and power generation.
  • Additional exhaust air filter (1× 5 m³ of UgnCleanPellets® S 1.0 filtering material for odour control in the regeneration air from the gas desulphurisation process)
